While including the less mystical characters like Iron Man and Captain America in Marvel's Midnight Suns' roster doesn't make sense narratively, the characters are truly brought to life through the game's enthralling narrative and in-game social aspects between characters. Marvel's Midnight Suns, however, does manage to do much more with its 13 characters than anything found in Marvel Strike Force.
While familiar faces like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Thor are inevitably present, Marvel Strike Force also features rarely-found members of the X-Men, Secret Avengers, and Inhumans in its roster, making Marvel's Midnight Suns' 13-character roster look minuscule by comparison. Marvel Strike Force touts over 150 collectible heroes from the vast reaches of the Marvel Universe, with many, many left-field characters to unlock. In terms of sheer numbers, Marvel Strike Force has the clear advantage over Marvel's Midnight Suns.
